||Erich Lichtscheidl is an Associate Professor for World Languages & Cultures in the United States and a CTP Certified Translation Professional with more than twenty years of experience in translating and proofreading from English, French and Italian into German. Due to his work and research as a second language specialist in higher education he is able to transmit language varieties and cultural components into the target language. He assesses dual enrollment teachers in secondary schools as well as translators.
Erich Lichtscheidl got his doctor’s degree from the University of Vienna, Austria, and his Master’s Degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2007 and 2008 Erich Lichtscheidl got awarded for excellence in international education in Virginia. His numerous stays and work assignments abroad, particularly in France, Italy and Austria, help Erich Lichtscheidl keeping up-to-date with the latest vocabulary and language trends and having a deep understanding of world cultures.
